Self-assembly
Your original brake disk can be replaced with the aid of the supplied conversion kit.
To do this, the original brake ring must be removed in accordance with the enclosed installation instructions.
The new brake ring can then be bolted back to the original inner carrier using the mounting parts supplied.
For inexperienced mechanics, we strongly recommend the in-house brake disc conversion, which is also available in our range. The original brake disk must be sent in for this. The necessary work is then carried out for you by our qualified employees and the brake disc is then checked.
In both cases, we recommend using the optionally available Ferodo brake pads.
These guarantee optimum riding pleasure with a long service life.
Conversion in-house
The original brake disk must be sent to us after ordering.
Please enclose a copy of the order confirmation with the parcel so that the goods can be assigned quickly.
We will then dismantle your worn brake disk.
The original inner support is checked, sandblasted and turned flat.
We then use stainless steel floaters to mount an outer ring made of a specially matched stainless steel alloy semi-floating on the inner support.
The result is a new brake disk which, in conjunction with the optionally available Ferodo brake pads, guarantees optimum riding pleasure with a long service life.
